DISABLED VETERANS EVENT WITH
Join the Beautiful Lives Project and Disabled Outdoorsmen for an exclusive disabled veterans' sporting clay shoot, September 5, 12 noon pm CST. During this skeet-shooting event, participants will use shotguns to shoot small clay targets that are launched into the air by throwing machines. This event is inspired by golf tournaments and is often referred to as "golf with a gun." By utilizing this type of event, participants are not required to have prior skeet shooting experience. The Beautiful Lives Project and Disabled Outdoorsmen strive to promote an inclusive environment, where people of all abilities can experience sports first-hand, work as a team, and build new friendships.

The Beautiful Lives Project gives people with disabilities the opportunity to actively participate in activities and events that may not have been available to them previously due to physical or facility limitations. We work with communities, organizations, groups, and individuals to create, build, and expand programs, ensuring an immersive and enriching experience for all participants. These programs include athletics, performing arts, visual arts, nature and wellness. If you would like to host an event in North Texas, please email Stacy Apple.
