This unique event is a coordinated by the Beautiful LIves Project with Kansas City Urban Yourth Academy—the signature baseball and softball program of The Kansas City Royals Foundation—and the University of Missouri Kansas City Softball Team.
Join the UMKC Roos on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at KCUYA for a fun, inclusive event where children with disabilities can discover the excitement of the game—no softball experience needed.
You’ll join UMKC players and coaches on the field to:
Meet and mingle with the team
Learn softball fundamentals
Run through fun drills
Share laughs, high-fives, and lasting memories

🅿️ Parking: KCUYA does not guarantee parking. However, there is limited short term parking in the 18th and Vine District, side streets, and across from Manual Tech on Truman Road.
