This past month, we had the opportunity to align ourselves with philanthropist Sean O'Hare's foundation, 100 Million Strong. Sean helped assist in the expansion of the fast-growing annual Night to Shine special needs prom with the Tim Tebow Foundation. He then developed the idea for 100 Million Strong - to create engaging events year-round, while encouraging volunteerism and raising money for local special needs charities. We are so proud to announce our involvement with 100 Million Strong's worldwide special needs fashion show, Runway Rockstars. The BLP logo will make its international debut at the Runway Rockstar event this July in Rome, Italy!
March also marked our first ever month hosting events from coast-to-coast. In Oceanside, CA, participants were introduced to the Beautiful Lives Project through two All-Abilities events at iFly. In Dallas, the Texas Legends basketball team hosted a clinic for over 20 disabled fans. On Stage, we saw an amazing feat in March, with three separate ballet companies hosting performances for our special needs community in Charlotte, Syracuse, and Savannah.
We have also updated our website to make it easier to connect with your local Beautiful Lives Chapter, as well as view upcoming events near you. If you haven't been on lately, click HERE to view our Get Involved page.
Lastly, we couldn't go without expressing our debt of gratitude to our hosts, participants, volunteers, and sponsors for helping us March Strong!
